• Associate memberships are held by organizations rather than individuals
• Associate membership does not entitle the organization to vote at the Annual Meeting of Voting Members
• Associate membership are restricted to:
• education sector organizations who either operate inside Ontario but without coverage by the WSIB, or who operate outside Ontario
• any provincial or federal department or ministry responsible for education-related services
• education sector component of any Schedule 2 firm
• ESAO retains the right to determine eligibility for Associate Membership
• Associate membership is not transferable to another organization

Associate membership operates on an annual basis, from July 1 to June 30 of the following year, and is renewable upon invoice.
