The
purpose of an accident investigation is to prevent the recurrence of an
accident. The focus should be on the accident, not the injury. An
accident is an undesired event that results in physical harm to a person
or damage to property. It is usually the result of a contact with a
source of energy (i.e. kinetic, electrical, chemical, thermal, etc.)
above the threshold limit of the body or structure. One Accident
Inspection CD will be given to the organization to assist its staff in
presenting their own onsite workshops. The CD contains a PowerPoint
presentation, Leaders Guide and Handouts. The organization will be able
to purchase the participant booklets at the client rate for future
workshops.
