Dealing with a Difficult or Angry Person Workshop
Conferences > Workshops

This workshop will assist organizations and individuals in dealing with difficult, disruptive or angry people in the workplace.  As many workplaces are open to the public, staff must know how to effectively diffuse difficult situations and prevent a violent incident from occurring with individuals who could include clients, visitors and fellow employees.

Many workplaces across Ontario have developed a Workplace Violence Prevention Program.  Employee education and training is a critical step in a program of this kind.

Available in French and English

THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS WORKSHOP

Facing hostility at work can be very stressful.  However, by increasing awareness and identifying the early signs, individuals may be able reduce conflicts to prevent the cycle of aggression from escalating.

Each participant will receive a booklet that will provide detailed text and graphics to aid the instructor and student in discussing the workshop and will be a valuable after-training reference.

The cost is as follows:

Clients $10.00 for each participant
Non-Clients $20.00 for each participant

Other clients should feel free to call our consultants for advice and to determine if an onsite workshop would be beneficial. The cost for non-sector clients' onsite workshops is as follows:

Non Member Clients $350.00 per 1/2day + $20.00 for each participant
