Standardized and Unique Symbols

We have had a number of requests for unique symbols. Many new immigrants who do not read English use our facilities. European countries are currently discussing international safety signs (see below the colour combinations for the EEC Directives).

Both of these symbols generally have an image in the centre which indicates what is being discussed. When an international symbol does not exist, the above symbols can still be used to deliver a message but these are meant to supplement, not replace the signage presently required. Below are two symbols presently being used in our sector showing how to use a toilet properly.
