Winter Driving will introduce you to the limits of
performance in Winter. You will also look at winter driving concerns,
tires, traction and how to prepare yourself and your vehicle for winter.
Braking and Steering explores various techniques for braking,
steering as well as for avoiding collisions and obstacles. We also
learn about different braking systems including conventional and
automatic braking systems.
Skid Control looks at the causes of skidding, how to recover from a
skid, and how to prevent a skid from happening. You will also learn
about the importance of visual tracking, and will look at situational
management in the form of a series of problem situations and their
solutions.
At the Scene of a Collision gives you the chance to be the first on the
scene of a collision and learn how to cope with the trauma as the
situation unfolds. We look at what and what not to do at the scene of
the collision as well as what to do if your vehicle is in an accident.
Brain teasers at the end of each module
and a short quiz at the end of the program are provided to test your
knowledge and prints out, providing the employer and employee with a certificate of completion for their records.
