This booklet was prepared to give students and co-op teachers a quick review of what hazards to expect in placement worksites. While placement can be very rewarding, it can also be a minefield of hidden dangers. Students do get injured and some killed in placements, co-ops and new jobs. No workplace is free of hazards. All work areas where students can be assigned should be inspected.
