Training key employees to deliver Phase II training at your workplace is an economical and convenient solution to delivering your Workplace Specific Hazard training. With Phase II Train the Trainer, you can conduct training where and when you want. This approach supports the internal responsibility system and demonstrates due diligence.

Through a combination of theoretical and practical hands-on exercises, this program will provide an overview of adult learning principles, help you recognize Certification Part 2 training requirements and provide you with the tools to teach how to recognize, assess and control 15 common hazards in the workplace.  For information on the 15 Modules Click here.

This package consists of:

• Adult Learning Principals
• A Training Manual and Resource Guide
• Trainers Handouts and Resources
• CD ROM Containing Leaders guides, PowerPoint Presentations, Actions Plans and flow charts for 16 Workplace Specific Hazards

After attending the required Phase 2 courses:

• The employer notifies WSIB that the staff members have attended Workplace Specific training

• WSIB enters the modules attended into its database, and sends a letter back to the employer to confirm receipt

• WSIB mails a letter to the employees, with a wallet card that peels off the letter.  This card does not specify what modules they attended, only that they have attended Workplace Specific training
