This awareness module will describe biological hazards and how they cause injury and disease. It will cover the relevant legislation, standards and guidelines, and describe infectious diseases, infection control, and universal precautions.

The module will describe how to prepare an action plan in your workplace to identify, assess and control biological hazards, including the safe handling of biological spills.
