This awareness module will describe the hazards associated with confined spaces and how they can cause injury and death. It will cover the relevant legislation, standards and guidelines, and describe how to identify potential confined spaces. This module discusses environmental monitoring, emergency procedures, and entry permits and procedures.

It includes a description of how to prepare an action plan in your workplace to identify, assess and control confined space hazards.
