Workplace inspections are a proactive approach to accident prevention and, as such, a workplace inspection could be viewed as an “Accident Investigation without the Accident”.
An inspection is a critical examination of the work environment to discover actual and potential hazardous actions and conditions that might contribute to an accident or incident in the work environment. Furthermore, it is the basis for correction of such hazards with both remedial and long-term solutions being suggested, recommended and implemented.
One Workplace Inspection CD will be given to the organization to assist it in presenting
its own onsite workshops. The CD contains a PowerPoint presentation, Leaders Guide and
handouts. The organization will be able to purchase the participant booklets at the client rate for future workshops.
